Zwei Engel starren
in die Ewigkeit – weil es
halt kein WLAN gibt.
Two angels gazing
deep into eternity –
since there’s no Wi-Fi.
Altbau mit Falten,
vom Kran gestreift, fast berührt –
ein leiser Aufbruch.
Old house, lined with age,
grazed gently by the crane’s arm –
something starts to shift.
Dort, wo Schatten ziehn,
steht einer still zwischen Welt
und Verspätungstakt.
Where the shadows pass,
someone stands still, caught between
world and delayed time.
Leerstelle im Blick,
trägt das Gewicht von Fragen,
die keiner mehr stellt.
Blank space in the gaze,
carrying the weight of questions
no one dares to ask.
Abgestellt, verkannt.
Doch das Grün hat sich verliebt,
wie wir manchmal auch.
Set aside, dismissed.
But the green has fallen hard —
as we sometimes do.
Keiner steigt hinab,
und doch surrt das Rollband fort –
Tauben halten Wacht.
No one going down,
still the belt keeps moving on —
pigeons stand on guard.
Plattform ohne Ziel,
ragt ins Leere, unbefragt –
doch gebaut für Mut.
Platform without aim,
jutting into the unknown —
yet built out of courage.
Die Erlösung kam –
nicht als Licht, nicht durch Gebet –
nur in Form von Schlaf.
Redemption arrived –
not through light, nor whispered prayers –
in the shape of sleep.
Ordnung vor dem Haus,
jede Pflanze zählt ihr Blatt –
niemand tritt hinaus.
Order by the door,
every plant counts out its leaves –
no one steps outside.
