My very first steps at anamorphic photography.

Rheinauhafen is a modernized harbor district in Cologne, located along the Rhine River. This area has been transformed from its industrial origins into a dynamic urban quarter, blending historic buildings with contemporary architecture. Key features include the iconic Kranhäuser (crane houses), which are a trio of striking, crane-shaped buildings that house offices, apartments, and restaurants. Rheinauhafen is also home to cultural institutions like the German Sport & Olympic Museum and the Chocolate Museum. The district is a popular spot for leisure activities, offering scenic promenades, cafes, and a bustling waterfront atmosphere.

St. Maria im Kapitol is a notable Romanesque church located in Cologne, Germany. Constructed in the 11th century, it is one of the twelve Romanesque churches in the city. The church stands on the site of a former Roman temple dedicated to the Capitoline Triad, which is reflected in its name. Known for its distinct cloverleaf-shaped floor plan, St. Maria im Kapitol features three apses and a large, vaulted nave. The interior boasts a variety of historical and artistic elements, including intricate woodwork, medieval frescoes, and impressive sculptures. This church is a significant example of Romanesque architecture and offers insight into Cologne’s rich ecclesiastical history.
